Restaurant Delphi in Bingen am Rhein

Due to Corona the food was only available to pick up, tasting excellent but a bit cold

Have now given the restaurant the 2nd chance to score points with the pick-up service. Unfortunately again only overpriced, if at all, mediocre. Delivery service is offered but not implemented. The prices on the menu are 1 Euro cheaper per dish than you have to pay when you pick it up! What shoud that? The portion sizes are once again very small and at more expensive prices. No price reduction if e.g. the side dishes are omitted. The fried aubergines are breaded, breading is not indicated, which is the case with the mushrooms. 4 slices of aubergine for 6.90 euros! I only say Hallelujah, especially if you don't want to eat it because of the breading and the garbage can was happy about 6.90. The gyros was portion size about 5 tablespoons with a portion of zaziki without side dishes and a very small coleslaw for 12.50 euros. Sorry, I'd rather cook myself in the pandemic. Regarding the quality, everything is dry as a stone and not even lukewarm anymore. 2 stars because the gentleman was friendly when ordering. Unfortunately, that was again quite disappointing.

First of all, that eating is good 👍 BUT - I (we) try to support the Binger restaurants in these Corona times. 1-2 times a week we have something brought or picked up. It goes without saying that our restaurants have to earn something and in these times € 1 more is also okay, what the Delphi restaurant is now asking is a cheek 👎 compare the price list from 2020 to 2021, price increases of 30% to 50% and if you don't watch out (like me) you get more packed in the bag than you ordered, which of course you have to pay for. It's a shame but we don't have to be excluded. There are still enough restaurants in Bingen that have stayed on the ground and we will be happy to support them 👍

Bad experience, Me and my wife had dinner here, my food was fine but the steak my wife ordered wasnt how she ordered it. She ordered her steak to be well done (yes i know, but she doesnt eat red meat) the steak they brought us was medium rare. We send the steak back 10 minutes later they served her the same steak and now it was cooked to far. If the chef doesnt know how to cook steak differently then he normally does then dont offer the option. It ruined our evening

Been here for the first time. Food very good. Waiting time on a warm summer day with a lot of visitors over 1 hour. The waitress regretted the long wait and handed out a round of ouzo as an excuse. Will give this restaurant a second chance to do better someday.

We were at this Greek restaurant for the first time today. And have to say it was good. The service was super friendly and quick. We never had to wait long. The food tasted very good and was very nicely presented. There are only 2 small criticisms: this was the somewhat loud music and the toilet. Nevertheless, it was a very nice evening. We would love to come back.

We visited the restaurant for a special occasion and I was overwhelmed by the quality of food served here. Staff are super friendly and dining outside is a great experience. They usually have two or three dishes as special dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to order them. Definitely a must visit if you are in the vicinity. The sight outside is beautiful with vineyards all along the hills. A pity that the river is not seen from the terrace.
